It just worked for me. I can't always know ahead of time with these social media darlings. The one over-the-top
Spoiler"I want to feel you milking me"
line didn't ruin it for me. I did laugh when I got to it, but I've read much worse in erotica.

I really really liked this book. I‘ve been obsessed with Spain and Spanish since I‘m a child and love fake dating stories so this was the perfect book for me. I love the humour in this book. I can‘t remember a book that made me laugh so often, live laugh Catalina‘s jokes.
Am I really the only one that realizes how weird it is tho? They’re adults and act like they’re 15. Especially Catalina
Anyway I‘m really bad at reviews so that‘s it lol

This is one of the cutest romances I have read in a long time and does not deserve any of the hate it’s given. This is a book that doesn’t shy away from being a bit cliche. I mean it literally lays out the tropes on the back. It’s fake-dating, enemies to lovers, one bed. It doesn’t shy away from that it embraces it. Yeah there are some moments that are bit rinse and repeat but they are enjoyable. Plus I love that it’s made clear that Aaron has always been attracted to Catalina, or at least liked her. It wasn’t some sudden romance, or spontaneous declaration. We know how it will end and we know that Aaron wasn’t hiding it, just respecting Catalina’s boundaries. It’s honestly such a cute read, and really enjoyable

This book is ...tough. I want to like it more than I do. If I break it into 3 acts - Act 1 is unbearably slow, Act 2 is fantastic, and Act 3 feels tacked on and tropey.
Act 1 introduces us to the chatacers and boy is the first chapter CONFUSING. I had to reread the first few pages multiple times to even begin to understand what was going on. The characters are fine - Lina, the FL, is a huge annoyance for a lot of the book and took me out of the story a bit. The ML seems a little too good to be true in a lot of ways, but I still like him. Then it takes forever for them to get to the crux of the story - the trip. So much of Act 1 could have been cut.
Act 2 is a fun read. Seeing the actual "fake dating" in practice and whatnot. No real complaints there.
Act 3 is unnecessary imo. I think there could have been more interesting ways to have them return to their normal lives and there was too much happening and too many tropes and it just felt messy.
All in all, I will most likely read what Armas writes next. I have high hopes for her.
