Familiar Tactics, Even Today

The graphic novel adaptation of George Orwell's 1984 by Fido Nesti is truly impressive.
It takes a classic book and brought it to life with stunning visuals.

This book is not just an entertaining read, it's an important and timely one. Even though the book was written more than 70 years ago, its themes of propaganda, manipulation, and oppression still ring true in today's world in certain countries...

The artwork was simply phenomenal and Nesti really captured the essence of the original book. The characters were drawn with such depth and emotion, that you could almost feel what they were going through.
The world-building was also fantastic, and the settings were so vividly portrayed that it was like being transported into Orwell's dystopian world.

One of the most impressive aspects of this graphic novel is how Nesti portrayed some of the more abstract ideas in the book. The concept of doublethink, for example, is represented brilliantly in the art, and you get a real sense of what it means to hold two contradictory beliefs at once (2+2=5).

In short, 1984: The Graphic Novel is a must-read. It's a powerful adaptation of a classic book, and it's never been more relevant than it is today.

The book's themes are as important now as they were when Orwell wrote it, and Nesti's art really brings those themes to life. I highly recommend this book to fans of the original, and to anyone who wants to explore the power of propaganda and the dangers of a totalitarian regime.

A society that is devoid of hope, with no one there to save you from it. That is the crux of 1984, and within that environment, who can stand?

No one.

That is the point. To never let humanity lose our morals as our intelligence grows.

One of the most psychologically sound, complex, and incredible novels ever written. The graphic novel version does a fantastic job rendering it.

1984 is a classic - and for those who have already read it (but maybe back in high school) this graphic novel is an amazing way to revisit such a crucial text. Haunting as gorgeously illustrated, this is a must read 5/5
