I missed this series so much and I was so excited to get to read about some of my favorite characters again and to get to know a new favorite couple to add to the group. This story was so much fun. It was also sexy and emotional and even had some suspense. It was everything packed into a quick paced short story without feeling like anything was lacking. Corinne amazes me with this. I can't wait to see what she writes next!

Ben and Gretchen

Gretchen and Ben know each other because they went to school together years ago. She was as once engaged and going to get married until she finds out her fiancé/boss have been lying and using her. She quit that very day and is now working for Jackson’s company where she is sharing an office with Ben.

I personally didn’t think this book fit in the series. I would’ve probably skipped over it but felt since I had read and enjoyed all the other books in the salvation series I felt I couldn’t leave it out. It just felt like an over dramatized version of the rest of these books.

this was a quick, hot read that started off with a gut punch.

Ben and Gretchen are perfection! I could not get enough of this story! I can see so much of myself in Gretchen that I was rooting for her HEA from the very beginning. The Salvation Series books were the first books that I read by Corinne Michaels and I was so excited to get back to the Navy SEALs. I love that all of the other men make appearances throughout this book. I have been Team Jackson ever since reading Beloved but Ben just might have won my heart in this book. #TeamHulk

I'm not normally one who loves novellas (I prefer longer stories), but Evermore was certainly an exception! I loved Ben and Gretchen! I loved their flaws, their quirks, their story! I was so happy to get to revisit some of the characters from the Salvation series, too~ how I missed them!

I definitely recommend Evermore!

perfect novella for the characters

This is book 5.5 in the Salvation series and is a novella. I read this one via audio.

Gretchen is left at the alter and decides to spend some time away at her friends beach house. She agrees to work at Cole Security as some legal help while there. Guess who she meets on her first day in the office?! Her childhood boyfriend and first love Ben.

Gretchen has to process being left at the alter after keeping her relationship hidden for a long time. She worries that no one will really want her. Ben was wounded while serving in Afghanistan and his wife left him when he returned. He worries he is less of a man now.

This was such a sweet second chance storyline. Ben does all the right things to take Gretchen on proper dates and show her what she was missing all those years with her ex.

The story builds on characters but not the overall storylines in as many major ways. The series won’t be impacted if you don’t read this one but I highly recommend it.

Quick but a great read. Ben and Gretchen have a cute relationship & it was the last of all the salvation series I read. Filled in some gaps of who Ben was and how he came to Cole Securities. There were a few cameos of Natalie, Catherine, mark, Liam and a few others in the book.

Spice could have been a little more but I give it a solid 4 stars!
