Still slow and lacking a good hook. I understand what is going on but I don’t understand the purpose or plot. I’m bored. It is disappointing to find such a well loved series so dull.

Although it falls into the same trap as a lot of narratives featuring Jack the Ripper (the victims are always forgotten), the series is really picking up steam, and I love the use of gender performance in this volume.
Graphic: Body horror, Blood, and Grief
Moderate: Death, Gore, Violence, Medical content, Medical trauma, Death of parent, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Misogyny and Sexism
Be aware that this volume revolves around the murders perpetrated by Jack the Ripper, and that includes the murder of sex workers.kelly24lox's review

This held my attention much more than the first but it still has such weirdo energy and sexual innuendos toward a child like what the fuck. If we are just gonna keep being freaks I don't think I will continue.
