When we talk about the found family trope, just know this book is the goddamn blueprint. I truly adored these characters and the bonds they had with each other. They were so touching, so heartfelt and these characters will definitely stay with me long after. I loved the inter-species drama, there was a lot of great commentary on humanity that I really enjoyed as well. This was like a warm hug so the bit of angst especially hurt. Just phenomenal.
