The prose in Carlos Ruiz Safon's Books with its gothic tunes and lyrical melancholy is and will always be undoubtedly the best is contemporary literature. Such a fine pen has been gravely missed by my heart. This collection of short stories is a delightful peak into worlds full of intricacies and outer worldly ambience that is so on brand with CRZ's books. A must have if you have collected his previous works or as a perfect introduction to his books.
