This is easily the most exciting series I’ve read in a long time! The end of this book had a huge reveal and a fantastic cliffhanger I’m so happy I was smart and bought the whole series after reading the first one so I can immediately start book 3.

This sequel had even more betrayal and destruction built in than the first novel. Still an interesting series, but this was a bit much on the action/betrayal and not enough on the actual character development. I will be anxiously awaiting #3, not due out for quite a while yet, but will be satisfied watching less oppressive episode of The Librarians for my librarian fix.
