Have you ever had someone talking to you and the whole time you’re just thinking “what are you even talking about rn”? That’s how I felt the whole time reading this. And with it being so long winding, I was going to dnf when I saw that my library had the audiobook. Unfortunately even with the audiobook it wasn’t any easier to digest.
This is the sort of novel where the plot isn’t important, not so much as the journey Orhan Pamuk takes you which is filled to the brim with tangents and philosophical musings. I cannot say I understood much of this novel and unfortunately I think this type of story isn’t meant for me. This was very difficult for me to get through and I often found myself losing focus.
