Kinda confusing/distracting with the Multiple POV. Haven't figure out why or if I should feel sorry for the fairies; I don't.

My fault, thought this would be science fiction but it is fantasy. The only character I liked was Mimic although he kept changing jobs from engineer to technician (I.e., inconsistent).

The ideas in this book are okay on their own, but the writing is clunky and some of the purplest prose I've read in a while. I won't be reading the sequels.
