Declan was likeable but Jade was so annoying.  This whole problem is her own doing and the way she throws her self a pity party is infuriating.  Definitely my least favorite in the series.

Wild Ever After is a marriage of convenience. Declan steps in and married Jade when her fiancé dumps her days before the wedding. Both had some serious growth to go through. It was a solid story.

3.9 stars. So so cute!!!!!

Once i found out that Declan’s book was next and it was marriage of convenience i instantly knew the love interest was Jade. They were so adorable together and i loved how much Declan loved her and reassured her throughout the book.

Only thing i didn’t like was how often Jade would overthink the most unnecessary things and cause a mess of miscommunication. It was getting repetitive and frustrating to be honest. Love her but i was internally screaming at the book “Just Communicate!!!!!” …communication would’ve solved so many problems. A slight shame that the author has written multiple women like this, even if it’s a common trope to create drama and intrigue, it’s still frustrating that the woman, typically, can never communicate their honest feelings.

ANYWAYS! Ash’s book is next and i can’t wait! However i am eagerly impatient for Jack’s book! I hope he gets a book too!

WILD EVER AFTER By Rebecca Jenshak

Jade has been contracted by the bridal magazine she works for to document her wedding journey. A week before her wedding she is dumped. Instead of cancelling the whole thing she plans to go ahead with it but with a different groom.

If you’re looking for a hockey marriage of convenience this is a good one. I loved how the H falls first. It’s always the other way around, so it’s nice to see. The roles are reversed in this book. She is the one who is the commitment phobic he is the one with the feels. This was a steamy read with opposites attract, forced proximity and marriage of convenience to name a few. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a copy of the audio version. This was a nice dual POV. They did an excellent job telling the story.

I received this audiobook through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.

Wild Ever After follows Jade and Declan in their fake marriage journey. In the beginning of the book, Jade was engaged but her fiance broke it off. But Jade needed to be engaged and have a wedding to continue writing about it for her job. Declan steps in to help. It was hard for Declan because he is pretty private about his life but Jade’s job has her life written for everyone to see.

I wasn’t sure how I felt about Jade at first. She seemed like a fake person. The more she spent genuine time with Declan and the closer they got, the more I liked her. I think Declan really was her perfect match because he brought out the best in her. He was always there for her to lean on and he was very supportive of her career.

I loved them together and the chemistry that they brought. But will Jade’s dreams be the downfall to their relationship?

Absolutely 5 stars for Declan, I would give my entire world for that man because he’d do the same for me. 1 star for Jade because she’s obnoxious and selfish.
