I didn’t expect to like this book but I absolutely loved it. I loved having both characters perspectives and inner dialogues. I’m starting to dip my toe into historical romance so this is very new for me but I just enjoyed this book so much.

Well yeah was a funny, fun, sweet and a touch heartbreaking regency romance. I loved it from beginning to end.

DNFed at 67% - Daphne's character reversal from smart, witty, a girl who can spot a lie a mile away turned into "how are babies made?"

Update: Couldn't stay away, picked it back up.

Cute!

I should definitely read the book before watching the series. This was a delight.

I liked the tv show a lot more. Enough changed between the two that it was still interesting. How they come to *that scene* was much worse in the book than the show, imo.
Looking forward to following the rest of the Bridgertons in the next novels.

I made the mistake to watch the series first so I was a bit confused at the beginning. The books are mostly exclusively about the two main characters and way less about any other characters. It was really easy to read. The author somehow put a lot of humour in an era that didn’t seem that funny to me. She’s keeping it real.
