The sex in this book is VERY BDSM. It's negotiated well, but mentions times when it hadn't been. Definitely heavy on the degradation, but all consensual.anil's review against another edition

Edit: upping my rating because I've been thinking about this book for like a month straight now
About a third of the way through this book I realized I was a third of the way through this book and then I had to put it down and do something else because if I kept reading then I would at some point finish the book and then I would not be reading it anymore and I could not have that!
It's wonderful. I love the characters very much, even the Tory which takes some doing! But I adore him. The balance between romance and very seriously strongly opposing views was well done. The political discussions were at times exciting at times seriously dark but always in ways that were so interesting!
I do wish kj charles books weren't quite so short. The radicals planning a domestic terrorist attack subplot was great and agonizing and I wish we'd seen more of it.
Minor: Police brutality
