I struggled to finish this book.  It's an opposites attract story.  Josefina is an artist who is traveling the world in search of adventure.  Owen is a successful self made businessman.  He is thoughtful, considerate, and attractive.  To me, she comes across as very selfish.

Owen has to make all the compromises and apologies.  She almost gets him hanged and hurts his business.  Yet, Josefina doesn't change at all.  He has to change everything about himself for her.  In my opinion, he deserves so much better.
