Its refreshing to see something that is not all Doom & Gloom from Lovecraft.

Surprisingly upbeat for Lovecraft. Existential dread? Just open the forbidden box of your forefathers and find the silver key! Goes a bit overboard describing the ennui before getting the plot moving.

(Ver mi reseña de "El") No es indispensable leer las otras historias de Randolph Carter, pero si ayuda a entender mejor al personaje. Aparentemente la historia termina donde empieza "A traves de las puertas de la llave de plata" (colaboración con Hoffman) asi que es dificil juzgarla. Sin embargo la llave como un objeto lleno de misterio y que abre puertas hacia cosas impensadas es infaltable en los mitos.
