SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

After Emmy died, Willa brought her back to life. But more than that, she transformed her into a god.

Now, Emmy has to figure out what her god power is. And Cyrus is there to help. Or he’s there for something. Because he’s decided to not let her out of his sight.

This is the story of how Emmy and Cyrus finally get together. Told from their (dual) POVs.

REVIEW:

I’ve never really been an Emmy fan. At first she was rather snooty and bossy. Then she became kind of annoying and clingy. I’ve never been much of a fan of hers.

I did think her and Atti were cute and was rather put off by the authors’ killing him off.

I do like Cyrus and I like his and Emmy’s banter. They’re cute together, alright? But I still don’t like it when authors kill of characters I’m starting to like.

This was just okay. Like I said, Cyrus and Emmy are pretty cute together. I also liked seeing a different (softer) side of Cyrus too.

But honestly, I missed Willa and the guys being at the forefront.

I’m also getting a little burned out on the series. I’m glad the next book is finally wrapping everything up because I’m just ready to move on to something different.

I really enjoyed these two characters and seeing things from their perspective. I definitely relate more to Emmy than Willa.

This was short. It wasn't as funny as the usual CotG stuff, probably because it was Emmy and Cyrus, not Willa and the Abcurses. I did like it though. They had nice sexual tension and witty banter. Emmy is the goddess of
Spoilerfertility
which is interesting. 3 stars.

WHAT I LIKED:
I am so so so happy that this book was written. While it is just a novella tying up a lose end, it was so needed and I totally ship it! Emmy and Neutral are perfect for each other! He wants to been seen as all powerful and superior, and she knocks him down a couple pegs.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
There is a part of this book that didn't seem to fit well and was just kind of there.. When the servers were attacking them with literally anything they could find.. it happens, and then literally isn't mentioned again.

OVERALL / RECOMMENDATIONS:
This book has to be read in between book 4 and 5. If you read it out of place, you will not only have major spoilers, but you will be so lost and confused. I will always be recommending this series to fantasy lovers and romance lovers alike, but please... start with book one :)

Cyrus... you are lovely and perfect and I am so glad that you found Emmy. Now get over your Godlike thought process and realize you love her.

Emmy... thank you for being honest with yourself and you desire for Cyrus.

This novella is perfect.

That is all.

I mean it wasn't life changing- I do wish we had more moments between Neutral and Emmy rather than it being a bit more plot-focused, but I think it was cute overall
