4 stars. Highly intrigued through this whole book and could hardly put it down! Lost a point for the “we can’t get off the island because of the weather” trope which was very similar to the first book, and also DS Elin Warner is such a wet noodle of a character and I truly do not like her.

2023 Listen #48

I am always on the hunt for new series to listen to on my commute. "Whodunits" that distract me from the traffic are my go-to for in the car. If you liked The Sanatorium, I think you will probably like this one as well as they are quite similar... maybe a little too similar.
