Wow! I'm am in awe, without words. this book was such an emotional read. I think I cried 75% of this book. I cried sad, happy, angry, and a mixture of all, tears. I truly loved this book. Aside from it being an emotional read it was inspirational. There is life after loss and grieving is different for each person. This book, to me, was real. So kudos to you Micalea Smeltzer for writing this amazing book.

Another incredible book from Micalea Smeltzer.

The burb of this book doesn’t tell you what this story is about. I don’t want to “spoil” it so here’s what I will say.

If Taylor Jenkin Reeds books “Forever Interrupted” & “One True Loves” had a book baby, this would be it.

I’ve honestly never cried more reading a book. The story was incredibly moving. One of my top reads for 2022.

If you want a book that deals with love, grief, healing and will make you cry big fat ugly tears, pick this up.

This is book is a reminder to all the people out there about lessons on one can teach us, all the characters out there bind you instantly.
Even though the story couldn’t be more simple, it’s the fact that you love the characters more than the story that brings a book closer to your heart.

I cried, I smiled but most importantly I felt lighter than I was when I began reading this novel.

This started out painfully slow for me and I thought I wasn't going to finish it. Then the 35% mark came and it started to pick up. The writing style was so overly descriptive that it took away from the story. I really didn't need to know the colors of her outfits,it added nothing to the story and led me to some skimming of the pages. I did feel like this story was like a couple I've read already and it became very predictable at times. That being said, I did at times really feel Blairs pain. I liked her dad the most but didn't like how Blair just kind of forgot about Lorraine and Jacob and anyone else that was connected to Ben.

This book is really on the verge of being great for me but there were times where I just felt myself slipping from the story and having to pull my focus back

I loved the message and meaning. However, sometimes the writing felt immature (for lack of a better term.) i did love the characters and I do love the idea of the Paper Crane Project.

I cried and cried and cried and cried and cried. But THIS is one of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever read. The writing is phenomenal— nothing in this whole story is missing, and everything flows. You feel like you’re there with Blaire the whole time.
