Stopped partway through as a strategic decision that was more about the series as a whole than about this particular book. I've been really enjoying the parts that I enjoy, but the parts that don't work for me really don't work for me. So I'm not in a hurry to read more of the series, and - having noted that every volume so far has ended in a cliffhanger - I decided to stop at a point where there's a natural pause in the story.

I liked it but it was a little boring.

3.75 out of 5 ☆’s.

“Striving to live up to one’s ideals is an admirable thing, of course. But…when those ideals start to constrict you, it’s easy to sight of who you are and where your true strengths lie.”

This volume was a tad bit slower for me than the others (hence the lower rating) but I did enjoy getting to see more of Yor’s past overall! :)

(I’m not a big fan of her brother, though…I’m worried he’s going to cause problems in the future…-.-)

I hope we get to see more of Anya’s school moments as the series progresses! They’re my favorites…♡
