I know many people complain that not much happens in this series but I still love them. They remind me of lazy Saturday mornings watching little house on the prairie.

I loved Anne of Green Gables so much and was so excited to continue with the series but this one didn’t provide the same magic for me. I felt the storytelling with a bit lacking. Still a beautiful book, but not the same.

Apparently, this is my year for the booktubeathon! EIGHT BOOKS. Thank GOODNESS for audiobooks. I would never have been able to do it without them.
I enjoyed this book, but not as much as the first one. I'm super interested in the next one though because I believe there will be romance :)))))))

So sweet! Growing up with Anne is such a sweet adventure. Even as she matures she keeps her imagination and shares it with her students and the children she helps raise. And meeting kindred spirits along the way is always fun! I cannot wait for my children to read the Anne books and grow up alongside her.
