While completely enjoyable with great characters and a storyline that will have the reader sighing with happiness, I absolutely loved how Annabeth Albert dealt with not only PTSD and anxiety, but a realization that love is just love and it does not matter which gender that love comes from. Both Harley and Ambrosse will hook the reader in from the opening pages and their romance was just a joy to read. Once again Annabeth Albert proves the MM romance is in her wheelhouse but with this story she has also mastered the human emotion as well.

When you think you write a review and its gets lost LOL

Take 2

Harley and Ambrose, bodyguard and client - this is a great addition to the A-List security series.

There is attraction and slow heat from the start with it building and well fake boyfriends who become real is always fun to read.

An enjoyable read.

Sweet and cute

I loved Ambrose and Harley so much. I liked how easy their relationship was and their communication between each other was lovely. A really nice, light and fluffy story which made for a really easy read.

Harley (40) is a confident, big muscly, tattooed former SEAL, from a humble background who works as a bodyguard. Ambrose (41) is from a well known Hollywood family, the creator of a popular TV show and suffers from a panic disorder. He also is the proud and loving owner of an emotional support dog named Hercules that weighs 5kg and gets carried around in a padded bag.

Whilst Harley is working security at a location shoot for the popular TV show, Ambrose is attacked. This leads to a series of circumstance that have these highly likeable men being fake boyfriends at a family event. Being polar opposite’s doesn’t dampen the chemistry between them and before long heated smexy times begin. Harley and Ambrose both feel and acknowledge the emotions between them but a miscommunication due to their fears and doubts does create some minor angst on the way to their HEA.

I found this to be a very enjoyable and interesting read that kept me fully engaged from start to finish. Characters from the two previous books in the series make appearances but this can be read as a standalone.

Sweet!

3.5 stars!

This series is turning out to be quite formulaic but it’s just so damn sweet, I can’t seem to stop reading it! Honestly, I’m living for the low-angst romance in this series. It’s so sweet without being overly cheesy and the MCs obsessions with each other is just so fun.
