Nice read. The jumps in the story weren't the smoothest and the characters weren' t very fleshed out except the main characters. It felt a bit rushed sometimes but overall I liked the characters and the story. Great sex scenes. Fell a bit flat but enough to fill the craving for steamy romance.
Graphic: Sexual content
Moderate: Bullying

This was alright.
I struggled with getting invested in their romance. I don't feel like Eli in particular apologized for calling her "trailer trash" when they were kids. Being a kid doesn't excuse somebody for shitty behavior.
Also, I do wonder how much research people put into things before writing a book. Owning and running a venue for events would 1000% have very tight security just to avoid getting sued. The entire plot of that weasel character (not Eli) lying, stealing, and all the other shit he pulled falls apart because it doesn't matter how "redneck" a town is. If they are catering to any event where 100's of thousands of dollars are being spent, the security levels for the building would, at the very least, exist. Where, in this book, they don't seem to even lock doors. It doesn't make sense, so I can't get or stay invested in what is going on with the characters and the events happening around them.
