Another great book. This series has not let me down. I will admit that I knew where the skull was at the start, but I didn't have it all figured out. I love the lessons and education that goes into this series. It's just a great series of books on to the next one.

When I tell you - the way I FLEW through this book. It was different from the previous FunJungle mysteries in that it was off the FunJungle land and also involved a nonliving animal, whilst simultaneously having a second mystery with overall greater application. I love that Stuart Gibbs writes about crimes and animal issues that are currently happening - it makes you want to get involved and provides an avenue for adults to talk to kids about it. In this particular novel, the dinosaur issue was not so big (could be great for a paleontology study though) while the problem with the reptile trade was addressed very well. Another great read from Stuart Gibbs.

i missed the fun, familiar environment of funjungle, as much of this book took place off-site, on a ranch. still, i can see the author's need to spread out the setting, instead of just taking us back to the same places in the park over and over again. loved the mystery and teddy's antics in this one!

So funny and visual. Interesting points on illegal exotic animal  trading.
