Charlene Brown is 33 and has just been dumped by Lee, who still lives at home with his mother and sneaks around to see Charlene. She goes into a depression but is finally forced to go out by her best friend Jenny who forces her to go to the opening of a wine bar with her. She's not enjoying her night until she meets a mysterious cowboy.

Darryl Drummond is 37 years old and has enough going for him to sway any woman. His Darlin' brings Char to her knees and makes her wonder where Darryl has been all her life.

But sometimes things almost go to well and you just wait for the shoe to drop. Will Char give Darryl the chance to prove he is into her for the right reason or will both of their pasts come back and ruin any chance at a happy ever after?

This was a great book on believing in yourself and not giving up on love, no matter how many times your heart gets broken.

I loved that Char tried to drown her depression/break ups with Ben & Jerry and hid away from the world. There are so many times that I would love to do that. I also really liked her articles for her column and how personal and reflective they were. She had the courage to write how she felt and it really helped her deal with what was going on in her life.

I totally fell for Darryl and his "darlin'" words. He taught Char how to believe in herself again and how to love herself. I was definitely not expecting the twist that he was in and it totally shocked me! I loved how he named his wines and the meaning behind them all. They were heartfelt and I loved it!!

Lee was such an ass and Char really should have dumped his ass years ago after the crap he was pulling with her. What a loser!!

I thought this was such a great read and definitely enjoyed it!! This was one of my favorite reads from this author!
