Very fun, very satisfying. One annoying cop out scene to make the plot work, but otherwise a very solid story. 
The writing was punchy and fun. The characters and voice were pure. A really good October read.

So fun to read, a coming of age story that gets really magical and all the main characters are likable despite their flaws - and that one guy you're not meant to like, ooooo he's such a creep! It's spooky too.

It ends well as a standalone story, nearly all threads are tied

except Aaron

up but, I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
