I normally love me a possessive and controlling billionaire CEO but my god this was another level.
Jameson needs a therapist. Stat.
Emily does too. Her mood swings were cray cray.
The writing? Poorly done, very repetitive and a lot of gaps in the plot.
IN SAYING THAT. Here for the vibes and the spicy scenes. I read it. I’ll read the next. Sue me.

Honestly, it could have been better. I loved how Jameson and Emily met and had this instant connection. Jameson was just so carefree and funny, and I was like yes a not grumpy CEO for a change. But the Jameson in the whole book is so rude and has such a bad temper, I instantly disliked him. And I hated how Emily never stood up for herself, although she did have an anger streak herself, she just would go with whatever Jameson says and I just couldn’t get myself to like her. Jameson was so demanding and controlling, like he always wanted what he liked and didn’t care about peoples opinions and I hated that. The story did get better once they started dating and Jameson learned to respect Emily’s opinions too but again at the last 30% of the book, it took a turn for the worst. I just couldn’t with the last drama part. The author showed how they were so in love but then they couldn’t trust each other and they drift apart, I just couldn’t, it was not well written I feel. It could probably would have done with just 400 pages instead of 500. It just felt a bit too dragged to me.

The banter in this book was so fricken good. I kept putting it off because of the size of the book but I am so glad I read it. They meet on an air plane and the rest is history. They both have smart a** mouths and their instant connection is hilarious I could not put it down and I cannot wait to read the next one! For sure a new favorite author! And the spice was perfect not to much and not to little.
