An absolute gem of a book. I'd heard so many good things about this book, it had been recommended by 2 booksellers. I had high expectations and it certainly didn't disappoint. I absolutely loved all the characters but especially Eleanor Oliphant. I think this will become a book that I return to again and again as it's so positive and uplifting. Definitely my book of the year.

I liked this book, I enjoyed getting to know Eleanor and all her quirks and was eager to find our the inner workings of her story.

I devoured this book in a few days. I feel like the story was nothing hugely unique or exciting, but the warmth of the characters made this a really enjoyable read. Sad in parts, but also lovely in others.

Honestly, this was quite predictable but definitely worth the read. I wasn’t sure about this book until at least halfway through (Eleanor is utterly insufferable 🙄) but the second half more than made up for it. I loved the development of the friendship between Eleanor and Raymond.

Me he llevado una sorpresa.
Y me sorprendiĂł.

What a lovely book that I really didn't expect (yay for going in blind!).
