A great continuation to the first book! I loved the story and it left me with wanting more. I loved seeing Soren put more and more pieces together, and I liked seeing them all adjust to life at the tree and becoming well-respected owls, for the most part. I also love the little system they have with the chaws. I’m for sure looking forward to reading the third book!

I remember reading this as a child and being scared af. Because it was the first book that I ever read that kind of described something “bad” happening and not just the low-stakes stuff that I usually read.

Listened during a drive. Beginning portion during their search was somewhat repetitive. 2 stars for the first bit, 4 stars for the remainder. Excited to see what the world grows into now.

Nothing really happened in this book until the last few chapters. Every character is highly capable of being annoying, Twilight being the most annoying with his awful songs. I like Ezylryb though

Not quite as stunning as Book #1, but still very good and compelling. And the mystery deepens....
