Such a good short story! I was captivated - the twists and turns were really good, always kept me guessing and never expected the big twist. Would highly recommend!

So good! Perfect short story with the pace and character development. Wasn’t expecting things to go how they did once we found out who Chloe was early in the book. Really enjoyed this short story.

I feel a bit harsh with my rating as I think a short story is always going to be challenging to make an impact with. However, I didn't really get the point of this story. It didn't feel very mystery/thriller and I saw one of the twists coming a mile off. I kept expecting something else to happen so was left feeling disappointed. I also didn't warm to any of the characters. 2.5 stars

A short story I do recommend is Signal Moon by Kate Quinn!

3.5 stars. I feel like this one was pretty predictable, not bad just predictable. It is a short story so there isn’t opportunity for character building or a deep plot. Still a great author and I will absolutely continue reading her books!

My first Sally Hepworth book. While I liked the story and the plot twist, there was just some things that could have been left out and the story would still be good.
