Some language, which surprised me for a young reader. Entertaining enough.

Read this one with my 9 year old son. It took a month because it was difficult to find 20 minutes everyday to read together, but it was worth it. He's excited he finished a 300 page book:)

The kids really enjoyed this as a read aloud! They want to continue w the series, so we will do that as soon as the library is open after the Covid crisis.

loved this one! awesome setting (the world's biggest and best zoo/amusement park, funjungle) great characters (some stereotypical characteristics but who cares when it's so wildly entertaining?), and wonderful writing! reminded me of grisham's theodore boone series, and the excitement of mr. lemoncello's library. so glad there are more in the series!! oh, ps, i feel obligated to note, for parents who care what their kids read - - there are a couple instances of language in here. there's definitely a "pissed-off hippo," and a "damn" and a "hell." :)

Another great intriguing mystery from Stuart Gibbs. I highly recommend. I don't want to tell you too much for fear of spoiling it! You'll just have to read it then, won't you. :) Can't wait for the next book about Teddy! It is called Poached.
