Found this while decluttering my house. A gift from my childhood. Reread it super quick just to remember what it's all about and it was absolutely stunning. Such a touching story, probably even more so as an adult.

I got this from a scholastic book order when I was in elementary school, and always loved the melancholy folktale about a childless couple who made a creature out of snow that they could love. It does have a beautiful ending!

Oh wow! I can't remember the last time I read this and it was such a favourite for when I was a teeny tot in a cot!
Stories like these leave you all warm about the heart region and how strange and wonderful to know this book was once read to parents that are now sharing it with their own children.
Beautiful!
