Not without its problems. For one is the rampant outright biphobia throughout a lot of the book. However, this is also talked about and called out as wrong, so I guess that redeems the book a bit. I found the mc annoying at times but mostly just felt bad for her (not to be too harsh to a fictional character, but she was just kind of pathetic a lot of the time). Her self loathing clearly coloured every little thing she did, and it read as though every other sentence was her  doubting herself. I think the depiction of queerness is one of the most accurate I’ve ever read. It felt relevant to modern queer life, and I feel as though I know about a hundred women like Kit (or really like each of the characters). But it still didn’t verge into being caricatures, which I appreciated also. Overall it was quite a gripping read, as I was very interested to see who she would end up with (and I liked the ending)
