I had high expectations for this since everyone said that the webtoon is better than the manga but boi idk. I think I prefer than K-Drama now at this age. If I read this before when it came it out, I might like it more. I kinda don't like Mari, she's too weak in my opinion and is solely depending on Jaemin and her friends. This webtoon teaches lessons in daily life and some dialogues are quite funny.

- Love this idea of vampires trying to coexist with humans after humans almost wiped them out. Interesting exploring the history and the prejudice and discrimination in society and how Mari adapts to look human to avoid it all
- Is this gonna be funny and cute?
- Yup, I love Suri, she's a gem and so funny and chaotic
- Mari rejects humans, boys and friends. To be cold so as not to be hurt poor girl
- Everyone loves Jaemin but Jamin hates everyone
- I love the school teacher! Not so much as Jaemin's mum but a supportive figure in the school for Mari
- Mari completely sassing Ara so calmly in that situation. Hell yeah!
- What is it with the parents being so horribly flippant about situations, it's horrible. The humour doesn't work in these situations
- Jaemin is a stalker, no thank you
- Aww Mari, you look so happy with your friends! It was a rough start but seeing how cruel everyone is to vampires and seeing Mari, they're ready to protect her. Mari can finally start the healing journey from her trauma
- Chibis are so cute and funny
- What is with the families? I don't like Mari's either!
- Yeah didn't realise how much I'd grown to like Jaemin and Mari's dynamic
- Credits to Shihu.... I don't think intimidation was the best tactic but also thank you for helping Mari. He was introduced as bad news but he might be okay
- Chaerin seems fun, maybe a little annoying, but fun!
- Aww the group trip! Look at them all 🥰
- Was not expecting a sad and dark backstory from Jaemin, poor guy. This cutesy little webtoon is about to get darker
- Mari I understand why you're holding it all in but you need to tell him its unfair on you both! Bless her she doesn't want to lose what she has
- Okay Jaemin, you can be angry for the lie... but it's cruel to accuse it was all fake, you chased after her first, she tried to warn you, the feelings were real!
- Shihu loses points for how he treated Chaerin
- It was a suspicion Shihu actually likes Mari, makes it complicated
- Shihu never sees humans vampires living side but Mari hopes for it in the future, to be human and to belong as one of their own. Her dream.
- Why do they drink blood? Because they're born that way- it's not something they can change. Goes for a lot of the basis of discrimination in real life too
- Looks like Shihu drank too much human blood
- Jaemin finally seeing the hate rise for vampires, wake up call for him

- Mari struggling, wish she was human, wish she wasn't born at all. Can't understand why she's been hated all her life. Even Jaemin has tears hugging her and comforting her, that hug was needed 😭

- "How could they treat every vampire as a murderer when its just one who did it... humans kill each other tens, no, hundreds times a day. Why don't they treat themselves that they're all murderers? Huh?!!" THIS THOUGH! AUNTIE IS SO RIGHT

- I remember judging this for being too cutesy but now this has got so thoroughly real and emotional.

I'm few chapters away from the ending but I felt the need to say something about this webtoon right away.
The vampire and human relationship was promising but then every character has a toxic trait. I tried to be understanding since this was written around 2011 but it's just not it.

So very good. I was sobbing by the end. I definitely should have been sleeping instead of finishing this, but the story was so sweet. It is a deep look at how bullying and discrimination really can ruin a person.
