Tangled by Laura Pavlov is the second book in the Willow Springs series and a brother’s best friend romance. This book can technically be read as a standalone but is interconnected with the other books in the Willow Springs series.

Tangled follows Gigi and her brother’s best friend, Gray, as they attend the same college. Gray is the typical alpha male, protective of Gigi. They spend a lot of time together and come to realize that they have feelings for each other. This was a slow-burn college romance as Gigi and Gray developed from friends to lovers.

I loved Gray! He was such a sweet, protective, and loyal guy. Gigi was equally amazing as a strong heroine who pushed Gray out of his comfort zone. I loved how the relationship developed between the two as they got to know each other romantically and as the characters themselves were revealed. These two were amazing together, their banter and chemistry showed how perfect these two were for each other. I fell in love with these well-developed characters and their story. This book was an entertaining and fun read that gave me all the feels! I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

When Gigi goes off to college, her brother asks his best friend Gray to keep an eye on her. But Gray takes this request to the next level when he stands up at the first party in his frat house and tells everyone that she is off limits. Gigi is furious, especially as she truly wanted the true college experience, but Gray refuses to acknowledge that she is growing up and thinking of losing her virginity. What starts as a hate relationship develops into a friendship when it becomes apparent that Gray isn't as secure in himself as he projects and that his feelings for Gigi are not just 'friendly' at all. And those feelings are reciprocated, tenfold. As their relationship develops, Gigi and Gray must try to keep their relationship a secret so that her brother does not discover the truth as that could jeopardize the friendship. But when everything blows up, true friendship and love shines through.
