This did not disappoint! I think I may like Hades POV better than Persephone’s just because we can get a glimpse into all the stuff he is doing in the shadows.

Once again, another great read from Scarlett. It's been a while since I read these books (I also haven't read them in her suggested order), but it was still awesome. I loved getting Hades' POV and seeing his relationships with others. I wish we got to see more of Hermes and Hades friendship though.

Now onto A Game of Gods!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
This is the spin off of Touch of Darkness, it is Hades’ POV. I really like this world. It is cool to go through the Persephone & Hades story again but just in a different POV.

Most of the book is about Persephone and Hades arguing and figuring out how to communicate.

A little more spice than I would prefer

There's just something about Hades' POV that I enjoy SO much more than Persephone's. I wish that the two series were combined because it would really make the Touch of books so much stronger. I'll probably say that about every Game of book that I read simply because I believe it so strongly.

It was fun to see the intermingling of the gods and everything that's going in the background that's leading to this war on the gods. It's also interesting to see what a vast and rich life that Hades' leads away from Persephones gaze. It would make things so much simpler if he would just share with her.

Looking forward to the next one but annoyed that I have to read Touch of Malice first.
