T.S. Eliot was insane for calling this “one of the stupidest and most uninspired plays ever written” because I truly believe that the revenge tragedy genre will never be the same because this play exists.

Shakespeare's writing continues blow me away with each play of his that I read. The dialogue and monologues are beautiful, and the violence and tragedy creates the perfect tense atmosphere that kept me hooked throughout the story.

I have a lot of thoughts and feelings
So much violence and actual horror but also moments of such intense redemptive tenderness
Will need 7-10 business days to get my thoughts together

Assigned reading for a Shakespeare class. Will be reading more.

I think the song "Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry was written for Saturnine. Dude doesn't know what to think and can't make a sound decision to save his life. Titus has way too much honor. If he just became emperor it would've saved a lot of people the trouble. Tamora is wretched. Like sure your empire got taken over, you got captured, and your son was sacrificed, but c'mon man you're just pure evil. Poor Livinia. That's the tweet. Everyone was maddening. Marcus was the only character who had any common sense the entire time. Marcus for emperor.

This one is definitely entertaining. Very fast paced and full or horrors. These people were ruthless.
