Before I get into this review I do want to applaud Emily for her writing especially when it comes to representation. She does it so well she does not dwell on it and talks about it in her books as you would if talking with a friend. Now to this AMAZING BOOK.
OH MY GOD I fell even more in love with Amir after this book! The story line is amazing they each have their own trauma if you read book 1 you know Amir is has his quirks and you get more of an inside of them and I love how he owns them all. I just love how he is so unapologetically him. He is also a cinnamon roll with a Filthy mouth😏 which is my favorite kind of MMC when in one chapter it is sweet nothings and then BAM!
Rachel hurt my heart as a woman I think many of us can relate to her relationship with her ex. I hope we all find us an Amir because that man wow he loves hard and we all deserve it. I also love how hard she loves the people in her life and will fight for them all!
For a comparison the first book was nice and sweet with spicy scenes written very well. This one has its sweet moments but there is nothing sweet in the spicy scenes since Amir is a Dom 😉.
