I have a love hate relationship  with this book I think. I agree with everyone else who says the main character is insufferable but honestly she was so real for that tbh. Who wouldnt do drugs and sleep for most of the year if they had the money to do so. Every woman should read this book, but only if you're in the right headspace for it. Then afterwards read something silly to take your mind of it.

If I ever get chronic insomnia I know exactly what to "read" to cure me of it.  I guess that makes this book kinda meta, huh. Too bad it was pointless drivel. And I thought The Haunting of Hill House was the most somnolent book I've ever read, but this one beats it by a long shot. A book I definitely should've dnf.

surprisingly really entertaining to read about someone sleeping for a year. this book was so messed up, but i low-key really enjoyed it
