I needed a break from heavy subjects, so this Teddy Fay novel, The Money Shot, was a perfect read. Light and easy to read, but with a touch of violence, Teddy Fay / Billy Barnett / Billy Burnett / Mark Weldon is a great character. Former CIA agent, now a respected producer at Centurion Studios, he is asked to help Tessa Bacchetti when she is being blackmailed over a sex tape.
Unlike the Stone Barrington novels, the Teddy Fay novels don't have a lot of gratuitous sex, but they do have quite a bit of murder. So, if you don't like any violence, steer clear.
I think these are perfect beach read novels. They are quick to read and don't require a lot of concentration to follow.

Fun book featuring Teddy Fay. He does a great job, doing what he does. Looking forward to the next one.
