4/5 stars! Actually a 3.5 but I bumped it up for nostalgic purposes.
Really enjoyed it, I think the backdrop of New Orleans and the witches was perfect. The plot twists were super interesting to watch and super fun to read through.
My biggest issue was that certain plot points and the ending needed more fleshing out. It felt like the ending of the fourth book was a set up for future books, and it would have been interesting to see the plot of any subsequent books.

this series was okay. I mean it was interesting enough to finish the whole series, but it didn't attracted me like Sweep or the immortal beloved by her.

I love love love this series! It's the perfect witchy read! Lots of twists and turns with a little romance thrown in!

It's an average series, you have the paranormal in the form of witches, a number of love triangles, almost everyone is involved in someone else's triangle. The biggest problem is it just ends. You finally get the scene with the big bad and there are 25 pages left in the series. 25 pages to have the battle with the big bad, explain everything, wrap up a who done it mystery, and resolve the love triangles. It doesn't happen. Undetailed spoiler ahead, but really not much of a spoiler unless you've never read this type of series and have no idea how these things play out. Still, generalized spoiler ahead. You get the shortest show down of the entire series, they just say eh we dont know to the mystery, what come up pence?, and most of the love triangles aren't addressed and for the ones that are they literally go from I hated you to oh wait you are my soul mate with zero development. It's basically like when a student has a time limit on an essay and realizes they only have two minutes left so they just start listing everything rather than describing it.

SWEEP is much better.
Tried a little too hard to be mysterious. Piles and piles of characters that I’m supposed to be suspicious of. But when it was revealed what they were doing, it was kinda just shrugged off. It was a little exhausting. A lot left unresolved at the end. Like, the whole plot except for the romance. Eh.

I read this years ago and somehow remembered it just this morning. I remember I liked it, but not much else about it. Should probably reread if I find it again.

I like stories that are purely one supernatural being. I love witches a lot. I bought this at a thrift store without any idea if i would like it or not. I loved it. The last part seemed really rushed and open to another book being written but i guess she gave up on the series. Going to find get other series and try her other writing.

Unknown they are sisters two identical girl one dragged to the mystery of witchcraft while the other gifted with magic. This two sisters get dragged into ancient drama from old time connected to their family. One girl is the good one and the other will bring nothing but darkness or disaster. A book that gets your attention if one is into witchcraft or like witches and all that mystery of magic they use. This books is a must read. My sister actually recommended it to me and I loved it. If your like romance in your books this has it and it will bring your jaw's to the ground when one reads it.
