This was a fun read-aloud for our family but at the end my son said, “It wasn’t a very good ending because they should have more adventures.” So maybe there should be another book in the series? ;-)

This was a read-aloud; I read it to my son. It's an exciting story, and he loved it.

Great conclusion to the Edge of Extinction story! I loved the twists that this part of the story took. Some were perhaps a tad predictable, but some really punched me in the gut. The ending was perfect!

Equally enjoyed by a 1st grader, 3rd grader, and 37 year old. The illustrated maps inside were an unexpected bonus.

This was a thrilling, adventure book for sci-fi and dinosaur lovers. It was Jurassic World combined with your favorite apocalypse movie. There was nonstop action and each near miss was another exciting thrill towards the finale. But the action wasn't all flash, there was a lot of substance in the science and character development. It felt detailed with just the right amount of explanation for its younger audience while still being informative.
