I've been reading the latest issue of The Radical Teacher, a progressive social democratic publication. They referenced this series of illustrated works and how to use them in the classroom... mainly college, but also high school. I purchased the entire series and will now go get the newest, longer story.
This is the last issue in the original series, and I won't post a review of each one, but I definitely recommend it. It challenges perceptions and stereotypes right across the board... including ones I'm working to shake.
