4.7⭐️! Sexy and sweet and funny and so entertaining! I was surprised how long it was but the author kept it fun the whole time while also touching on some pretty deep topics. Suuuuper slow burn which is *chefs kiss* I really enjoyed this

If you pretend they’re in their 20s and not late 30s early 40s it’ll be a lot easier of a read for you, promise. It’s so unrealistic and honestly cringe that they would act like that at that age. Also, it was too long. It dragged soo bad in the last 100 pages or so, I found myself skimming to get to the point

If you're looking for a book that is funny, spicy and have great banter, please, read this.

Ally and Dominic have so much chemistry. The grump MMC, who has a soft spot for the FMC.

This was my first read of a Lucy Score book and I greatly enjoyed it. I read it in less than 48 hours because it was the book pick for a bookish weekend lock in. The banter, the dialogue, the personalities, the slow burn, all had me in a choke hold.

I liked that the characters were in their 40s. It was a refreshing change from the usual MCs being in their early 20s. It’s harder for me to relate to that perspective as someone currently ankle deep in their 30s.

Every character, minor and main, had their own distinctive personalities that shined through interactions and dialogue. I was literally laughing out loud through out the book.

I also took the time to make notes and highlights through out the entire book on my kindle. Yes, I was raw with some of my comments (they are literally my instant reaction in that moment). But overall, I enjoyed the book and will definitely read more. I love the author’s writing style.

**There are exactly 20 references to cheese in this book. 🧀

Nope. You can’t be a normal dude at a fashion mag and be toxic. The resolution was him buying her love. Gbye.

I gave this 3 stars and that might be generous! This book was almost a DNF. Both of these characters were super frustrating that it was almost painful! These guys were just too much of a hot mess for me!

I wanted to throw this book so many times but since I was reading the majority of it on my phone I didn’t, only because I actually really like my phone!

The ending turned around, and they lived happily ever after, and for that I added the two stars (I am a sucker for a good happy ending!) but man, oh man! The journey getting there was a bit much!
