I liked this book. It is probably my least fave from Elle Kennedy that I’ve read so far though.

I liked that the two MCs grew up together, and it has a HEA, which is fab.

I don’t know why exactly I didn’t like it as much. I often enjoy bolder characters who aren’t just the sweet, shy, nerdy type, but this just didn’t hit the spot for me. I won’t reread this.

Much improved experience for me in this book versus Mac and Cooper’s book. These characters felt more complex and lovable.

I did not love the final act break up so we could fit it the finale of the Randall drama, but it got wrapped up neatly eventually.

I love this book! After reading the first one (Good Girl Complex) I was eager to read this one which is about Evan and Gen.

I loved seeing Gen and Evan’s relationship blossom and go through many twists and turns.
Another thing I loved is Evan and Coopers mum, Shelley. In Good Girl Complex she’s an addict and a thief but in this book, she’s really turned her life around and is making an effort.

I also liked seeing a character who struggled with addiction to alcohol and is practicing sobriety. I feel like that was written really well.

fuck deputy Randall though, he was a nasty cop and when I was tabbing my book, all the WTF tabs are because of him!!
