Little dialogue. Much gore. Story development finally, but not much more to say about this. Why do I keep reading them? Curiosity, I think.
Sabia que Tsukune era un personaje clave, era demasiado sospechoso que siendo como era no estuviera muerta ya.

Kii Kogami's live has been a living hell since the magical girls arrived bringing death and destruction with them. His school was destroyed but he and a few other students escaped. They finally found a safe haven at a shopping mall. Their haven didn't stay secure for very long and they were once again forced to run. In all of the chaos this time their group was split in half!
Kii is desperate to get to Tsukune's side and protect her but he has a slight problem. One of the magical girls sent him back in time by 10 years. He and the others with him are back in the year 2002 and the peacefulness of that time is surreal after all the chaos. Will they be able to go back to 2012? Do they even want to go back? Is there a connection between the two time periods?
This volume had a lot of surprises in its pages. Some questions have been answered from previous volumes, many new questions have been raised. The majority of this volume is in 2002 and this provides a unique look at some of the character's pasts. Learning about their pasts sheds new light on their actions in the current year. A tiny hint is given about the origins of the magical girls. Not everything is quite the way it seems.
I can't wait for the next volume to be released. The only downside to this series is waiting 3 months in between volumes! I still recommend this series to anyone who isn't squeamish. It definitely has its share of blood and guts but there is also a healthy dose of humor and a great plot to go with the gore!

!!Tw for attempted rape and I also think this was the volume that had some pedo stuff in it!!
stay safe while consuming media y'all :)
That was an interesting plot twist.
Also I hate the rapist cop dude, like he keeps getting worst with every volume and I just wish he would get exploded already.

4.25/5 Stars. SO before my review I just wanted to point out the fact that I will be reading a lot more graphic novels and manga in the near future. With that said, onto the review.
This series may seem cheesy, but it is very good. This volume did not beat the last, but it still gave us a background on the apocalypse (although it was a very limited and confusing one), and yes. I do think that they used the past story line so they could explain the reasoning more, but other than that it was a solid volume.

So I picked this one up without really looking much closer at it at a discount sale in town. I just liked the cover art and it was cheap so I though “why not?” and put it into my bag. I later realized that it was the third volume, but with manga I feel like it usually doesn’t really matter.
With this one though I feel it did. The plot I understood and manages to get kind of invested in but the characters were so awful that it completely threw me off. One of the main characters even being a rapist/pedophile? I might be missing something important- but I found the characters to be unlikeable enough for me to not even bother reading the other volumes.

I seriously can’t get enough of this series. I’m liking it way way more than I thought I was going to. The story line is amazing. The twists that it puts on old genres really makes it interesting again. I love the art. Everything is lovingly drawn, even when terrible terrible things are happening. (I’m still not entirely convinced he’s ever seen boobs in person though).
This is where you start getting a lot of the meat of the story. You see more of the person that is responsible for creating these “magical girls” in the first place. You get a lot more backstory on some of the characters. (You find out why the main male character acts the way he does and you find out that the main female character has a lot of dark secrets to hide. Also is it strange I’m starting to like this bully?) I love that we’re getting to know more about them because when the first book starts they just kind of throw you into the blood and gore and don’t really tell you much about the people in the story.
The fan service is almost non existent in this issue but boy howdy do they make it count when it happens. They take full advantage of the, ahem, full chested character at some points.
That being said, I REALLY don’t like that the main focus of this book is time travel. I hate time travel in stories. Hate. It. It’s a lazy way to get characters out of a situation where they would be sure to die but you don’t want them to. There has to have been some other way to get the kids out of the situation in book two and get more information about what was going on. That being said though, this does an exceptionally good job at handling it (they didn’t go the slapstick humor way, they actually took the situation seriously). Well other than the cop. (I hope he’s gone for good after this one I seriously don’t like him for serious it’s not ok to perv on an 8 year old because you know her in the future.
I’m still highly recommending this to any manga fans, especially horror manga fans. But be careful this one jumps from the implied sexual violence in the second book straight to actual attempted sexual violence. It may be upsetting to some readers. Also, gallons of blood and gore but I think that goes without saying at this point. Looking forward to book four.

I actually really hated volume one of this when I first read it then I decided to give it another chance since I enjoyed what I read of [b:Magical Girl Site|30989352|Magical Girl Site, Vol. 1|Kentaro Sato|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1494486907l/30989352._SX50_.jpg|37226067] (same author, though as far as I can tell the two series only share the magical girl/horror theme) and I'm glad I did. More actual story is now finally introduced instead of just crazy violence and gore and now I'm intrigued. Things and certain characters are definitely not what they seemed or appeared to be.
