I enjoyed this book and how we got to see into the every day lives of the characters, but it wasn’t what I was expecting considering what we got from the last 3 books. The different povs took me by surprise and it was a little weird getting use to and keeping the characters separate. The way the book was written gives me vibes that it was made to give us background for events that might happen in A Court of Silver Flames. I wasn’t super wowed by this book, but did enjoy reading it a lot.
