Lots of plot twists, super unexpected ending, and I loved the characters.

The ending is the only thing I had a problem with. It didn't feel unfinished, it just felt sudden.
Spoiler I was okay with not knowing if Red went to meet Arthur (we all know she did), but I do wish that we got one last chapter of her POV with it ending with her finding the note

It was an intriguing and mysterious book that I couldn't stop reading.
At the beginning the characters are a bit annoying, and the book starts off slow. Red is a bit of a chaotic narrator and jumping from one thing to another is a bit boring. But as the book progresses the story picks up speed, unravelling the mysteries bit by bit, generating tension in both the relationships of the characters and the reader.
I liked the way complicated issues such as guilt, emotional manipulation, anxiety, tension and fear of such a problematic situation as the one presented in the story are dealt with.

I loved it, it kept me in suspense until the last moment thanks to the fact that everything is told from Red's point of view, which means that the narration is not impartial, and only lets us see the point of view of one of the teenagers. And above all, I was surprised that although it all seems very simple, the author is able to twist everything enough so that you don't find out the end too soon.

I don’t get the hype AT ALL. So predictable and the main character was such a pick me omfg. The ending made it slightly better but still overhyped af

Holly Jackson strikes again!!!!

Holly has this talent to keep any reader hooked from the beginning, bite their nails throughout and then making them cry at the end.

Like, at very beginning, I had a fear this book is not gonna be as good as the AGGGTM series, but it proved me wrong in just few pages.

Everything about this book was good and damn the plot twist, the ending, I literally had tears reading about Red remembering Grace like that at the end. And I'm so glad, Oliver got that sweet Karma served to him on a silver platter, like yess, you Deserve de@th D-bag
