I enjoyed reading this book, the characters were likeable and the friendships were good and I really liked the storyline, however, the pacing was a bit slow in parts. Overall I did enjoy this book and would recommend it if you like to read about witchcraft.

Boring story. Expected a witches war not following the life of 5 college kids with very little action.. or witches for that matter

I really liked the way this book was broken up into the four seasons, since it made the size less overwhelming and more enjoyable. Each section has its own arc, but when put together they form a cohesive narrative for our characters. While I think the beginning could have been a little more flushed out, the overall story was enjoyable, even though it was relatively simple. There were a lot of characters to keep track of, especially at the beginning, but as the story goes on, the main characters begin to shine through more and more as they find their voices. If you’re into witchy stories, this is definitely an enjoyable one, even though it’s rather long at first glance

the bulldog nickname and grooming energy from Daniel really ruined it for me tbh

I liked this book. I thought the characters were likable most of the time, and I really enjoyed the story line. The writing was good, and I always enjoy it when authors make characters appear one way in the beginning before letting us in on the truth later in the story. I also found that each book flowed smoothly into the next even if the ends of each were kind of heartbreaking. However, the pacing was a little slower than I would have liked. Book Two: Fall especially struggled to hold my attention, and I pushed through with the hope that it would pick back up again (which it did!). The pacing aside, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it, especially if you have a lot of interest in reading about witchcraft.

This could have been action-packed and full of sense, but it isn't.

The entire series was amazing. I really liked the way that in the middle of the series Kerry found out that people could betray her and that she needed to be more careful where she placed her trust. The only part that I didn't like was the way that the couple (Brandy and Scott) got to be the only ones besides Kerry of the original group of friends that got to survive the whole ordeal. It would have been nice for Rebecca to have lived especially when right before she dies, she finds out that she is stronger than she ever thought that she could be. It was still a good series, and I would absolutely recommend it. Even though I didn't like the whole Brandy and Scott the only ones surviving thing, I did like the story of their relationship in the book. Thanks to Jeff Mariotte for writing a great series and for giving me something else to add to my shelf.
