I think a lot of people who go to see R+J are expecting a lot of romance is based on what they know about the super famous balcony scene. Alas, that is as romantic as it’s going to get.

I discovered my love for metaphors and old literature.
This was not the usual YA read and I can't compare it to any other book I read before. But... I still liked it. Romeo has it's own kind of humor and action and its just such a well written piece. I think I will read some of Shakespeare's other works as well.
I can totally understand if some people don't like it. Its a classic, books nowadays simply work differently. But I personally enjoyed the story and even the writing style. On the other hand... this is not a love story. It's the story of two foolish teenager who drag 4 people to death along them.
The only moral I can agree on is that hate leads to more hate and this leads to worse. So peeps... don't hate each other!
Anyways... reading this really made me want to write a modern version and start a theater group. Anyone in?
