Cute (?) and very entertaining. Enjoyed the first half the most. Includes quizzes to test your knowledge.

This book has an Edward Gorey sense of humor.  It was a fun read, but I am glad I got it from the library and did not  pay full price for it. If I had paid full price, I would have been disappointed.

Short, amusing, murdery. A good chuckle for those who frequent the mystery genre. I believe this is what they call a coffee-table book

I love a good British Murder mystery show so reading this fun quick book was a no-brainer. Highly recommend this for lovers of Midsomer Murders, Murdoch Mysteries, or any number of British murder mystery shows with villages with abnormally high crime rates 🔪

Words try to be funny (mostly not funny). Illustrations try to be Gorey-esque (always not Gorey-esque). The incident with the stamp was the best bit. Overall, far below my expectations.

This had some entertainment value, but seemed far more grisly and occasionally just inappropriate, than needed. Perhaps it's less aimed at readers of Agatha Christie, and is more a spoof of bloodier British murder mysteries I'm less familiar with.
