This was an enjoyable story for me! I enjoyed getting to see Chloe and Ro come together. Chloe is being used by her brother and he is forcing her to do things she doesn’t want to do and Ro has figured that out and is not going to let that go. He is also drawn to Chloe in a way that he hasn’t been to others. I loved watching the two of them figure things out and how to build the trust between them while figuring out how to take down Chloe’s brother and keep her safe. This was another entertaining read and I’m excited for more in the series!
The narrator did a good job bringing these characters and their story to life.

Liked this. Actually think this was better than the first...

The mafia aspect was present but didn't overtake the book and I appreciate that. The story was still a little dark but I didn't want to put the book down!

I actually skipped the first chunk of pages because I couldn't get into the set up. Once Ro decided to get his behind in gear to see what was happening I couldn't put it down.

Defending Chloe was a great read. That was not only extremely well paced, but it drew me in from the start and easily held my interest throughout.

Thanks to a really engaging storyline that had a lovely mix of mystery and romance. Not to mention a little suspense. Plus, this series contains a great group of characters and in particular the main two Ro and Chloe. Who I just loved and I adored their relationship, and the way from the very start Ro did everything in his power to support and protect Chloe as she tried to escape her brother's clutches. And that was really nice to read, and I'm certainly looking forward to reading more from this series in the future. I would also happily recommend Defending Chloe to others.
